As climate related activity and news headlines reach near critical levels, we thought it worthwhile putting forward some thoughts on where we see our role.

Following our earlier post this week, in the run up to tomorrow’s global climate strike, we’re feeling energised by a major move towards future change in national power supply.

The fact that birds migrate to warmer climates over the winter is something we’re all taught when we’re young, but it’s not that straightforward. Different species migrate at different times, to different places, using different routes – and our actions could be threatening this annual ritual.

Earlier this autumn, Engain’s environmental project director Nikki visited Bonn in Germany, gaining useful insight into the application of the current guidelines and ramifications of the Paris Agreement.

This month, Engain directors will be visiting UNFCCC officials in Bonn, to discuss priorities for Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
