
Preparation of UN National Communications on greenhouse gases and climate adaptation


Challenge
The Caribbean islands are particularly vulnerable to the uncertainties of climate impact. We provided project management skills and tools to support stakeholders develop their strategies for long-term asset protection.
Engain was instructed by the Government of Barbados to prepare its Second National Communications Report (SNC), for a United Nations funded research assignment. As a UNFCCC signatory to the Kyoto Protocol, Barbados is required to report Climate Change activities to the Conference of the Parties.
