Delivering government strategy for High Speed Rail

The arrival of summer saw us begin work with Arup and team, leading the environmental obligations on the High Speed HS2 Phase 2a, for the Birmingham to Crewe link.

Following the biggest bill in parliamentary history to gain Royal Assent, this multi billion rail investment represents a uniquely challenging infrastructure project.

A key part of the government’s policy and commitment to improving transport links to the north of England, construction of this 43-mile section combines a complex network of stakeholders and partners with numerous urban and environmental constraints – coupled with fast tracked development plans, to bring forward the arrival of HS2 benefits.

The Birmingham to Crewe high speed rail section is on track to be delivered by 2027, six years ahead of schedule.

We look forward to providing updates on the work in progress.
