We are delighted to have partnered with Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design and CampbellReith consulting engineers for a Joint Venture (JV) contract awarded by Homes England for the 2018-2023 Multi-disciplinary Framework.
Forming one of the 20 specialist teams selected to provide Homes England and other public sector organisations with development expertise, our involvement will see Engain provide ecological advice on the impact of changes in land use and guidance for managing biodiversity.
Launched this month, the Framework, will enable procurement of £100m worth of services, helping the government to accelerate UK housebuilding and deliver 300,000 homes each year by the mid-2020s.
“It’s extremely encouraging for the future of large-scale UK development that selection for the Homes England Framework has been inclusive, recognising the efficiency and breadth of expertise available from smaller, more dynamic firms” commented Matt Davies, Engain’s head of ecology.
“We are very proud to have been appointed as part of this joint venture, within a highly experienced team, ranked second highest for quality, sixth for cost and third overall.”
The Homes England Framework provides a simple, easy-to-use way of accessing a range of high-quality specialists.
The Tibbalds CampbellReith Multidisciplinary Joint Venture brings together design, engineering, planning and regeneration specialists to provide a tailor-made approach for each client.
By integrating services from smaller and mid-sized firms to provide the technical coverage of a large organisation, with the responsiveness and flexibility of SMEs, this unique JV team offers services including architecture, planning, engineering, ecology, property consultancy, project and cost management, and landscape architecture practices.
