Advising on future sustainability for a landmark BREEAM project

AHMM logo BRE logo

Following the extensive relaunch of the BREEAM technical standards for construction, a £10m project for the international building research body's new innovation hub required informed, creative consultancy, to ensure industry best practice.

We were delighted to be instructed by BRE – provider of the world’s leading sustainability assessment method for masterplanning projects, infrastructure and buildings – to provide guidance on gaining maximum landscape and ecology credits toward achieving an ‘Outstanding’ BREEAM assessment for this key industry facing project.

One of the first planned in the UK to adopt the new international BREEAM New Construction scheme, we worked efficiently to recommend ecological enhancements and low carbon building innovation, to build a robust planning application and provide a net gain for biodiversity, user experience and project profitability.

Our team offers years of expertise in applying robust standards to enable clients to benefit from sustainable development and increased asset value.

BRE’s new specialist centre is expected to create 150 new high R&D construction roles, within digital and smart technologies.
