Rowden Park is a long running and ongoing project involving the clearing of an area to build a brand-new roundabout just outside Chippenham. Engain supported Crest and Redcliffe with the outline planning application, which was submitted in 2014, and worked on Reserved Matters applications for all the phased development parcels, ensuring that they comply with all the commitments made in the original ES, and that survey data stays up to date. Engain also supported the project by inspecting trees in the area prior to felling for roosting features, providing pre-commencement checks for badger setts, providing otter and water vole surveys, and made sure we were present during vegetation clearance to check for reptiles. The project has finally been given the go ahead, with Redcliffe due to start work on the new roundabout in January 2023.
