The Engain team has expanded once again with the recruitment of new Senior Ecologist, Sam Rogers.
Sam has a broad base of knowledge, having worked as part of an ecological and multi-disciplinary team for over 7 years. She is skilled in a number of assessments including preliminary ecological assessments, ecological impact assessments and biodiversity net gain, amongst others. As well as this, she holds a Dormouse Licence for both England and Wales.
Lizy Tinsley, Principal Ecologist and Ecology Team Leader, said: “I am delighted to be able to welcome Sam to Engain. Sam is bringing almost a decade of professional consultancy experience to the Ecology team, which spans a variety of specialisms. We are particularly looking forward to supporting her focused interest in botanical surveys and dormice. We are working on some really interesting projects at the moment, and Sam will be playing a crucial role in making these a great success for our clients.”
Matt Davies, Director and Head of Ecology at Engain, said: “Sam is a brilliant addition to the team at a time when Engain is responding to an increase in enquiries from clients both old and new. Her broad skillset combined with her specific interests means she will be able to make a valuable contribution to projects, and we’re looking forward to introducing her to our clients.”
Sam has experience in working on a wide range of projects including residential builds, waste management and large-scale infrastructure, particularly where complex biodiversity net gain assessments have been needed.
We will be introducing Sam to clients over the coming weeks. If you have any ecological or environmental issues Sam and the Engain team can help with, please contact 01225 459564 or email enquiries@engain.com
